Description

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup almonds
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Soak almonds in water overnight.
  2. Drain and blend almonds with fresh water until smooth.
  3. Sauté onion and garlic in butter until soft.
  4. Add blended almonds to the pot and simmer for 15 minutes.
  5. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
  6. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For a richer taste, use almond milk instead of water.
  • Garnish with toasted almond slices.
