A creamy almond soup with a delicate flavor, perfect for a light meal.
Ingredients

- 1 cup almonds
- 4 cups water
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
Instructions
- Soak almonds in water overnight.
- Drain and blend almonds with fresh water until smooth.
- Sauté onion and garlic in butter until soft.
- Add blended almonds to the pot and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- For a richer taste, use almond milk instead of water.
- Garnish with toasted almond slices.
