Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and flour two 9-inch round baking pans.
  3. Mix flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.
  4. Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla. Beat for 2 minutes.
  5. Stir in boiling water. Batter will be thin.
  6. Pour batter into prepared pans.
  7. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
  8. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pans.
