Description
A delicious dessert made with tvaroh (quark) and apricots.
Ingredients

- 500g tvaroh (quark)
- 200g sugar
- 100g butter, softened
- 3 eggs
- 200g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 200g apricot jam or fresh apricots
- 1 packet vanilla sugar (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a bowl, mix tvaroh, sugar, and softened butter until smooth.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
- Sift flour and baking powder, then fold into the mixture.
- Pour half the batter into a greased baking dish.
- Spread apricot jam or arrange fresh apricot slices over the batter.
- Cover with the remaining batter and smooth the top.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool before slicing into squares.
Notes
- Use fresh apricots when in season for better flavor.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving if desired.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
