Description
Tvarohové řezy s malinami are delicious Czech dessert bars made with a creamy curd cheese filling and fresh raspberries, layered on a buttery crust and topped with a sweet glaze.
Ingredients

- 200 g all-purpose flour
- 100 g butter, cold and cubed
- 50 g powdered sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 500 g tvaroh (curd cheese)
- 100 g granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 200 g fresh raspberries
- 100 ml heavy cream
- 50 g powdered sugar (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Mix flour, cold butter, powdered sugar, and egg yolk to form a dough.
- Press the dough into a lined baking dish and bake for 15 minutes until golden.
- Blend tvaroh, granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Pour the filling over the crust and top with fresh raspberries.
- Bake for 30 minutes until set. Let cool.
- Whisk heavy cream and powdered sugar for the glaze and drizzle over the top.
- Chill before slicing into bars.
Notes
- Use room-temperature tvaroh for a smoother filling.
- Frozen raspberries can replace fresh ones if needed.
- Chill the dessert thoroughly before serving for clean slices.
