Srdiečka is a traditional Slovak dish made from pork hearts, typically stewed with onions and spices.

- 500g pork hearts
- 2 onions, chopped
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 cup water
Instructions
- Clean the pork hearts thoroughly and cut into small pieces.
- Heat oil in a pot and sauté onions until golden.
- Add pork hearts and brown them for 5 minutes.
- Stir in paprika, salt, pepper, and bay leaf.
- Pour in water, cover, and simmer for 45 minutes.
- Serve hot with bread or potatoes.

- Clean the hearts carefully to remove any membranes.
- Adjust spices to your taste.
