Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Clean and gut the fish, then pat dry with paper towels.
  3. Rub the fish inside and out with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stuff the cavity with lemon slices and minced garlic.
  5. Place the fish on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the flesh flakes easily.
  7. Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.

  • You can add herbs like thyme or rosemary for extra flavor.
  • Check for doneness by inserting a fork into the thickest part.
