- 500g white fish fillets (such as cod or sea bass)
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 green onion, thinly sliced
Instructions
- Pat the fish dry with paper towels.
- Mix soy sauce, mirin, sake, ginger, and sugar in a bowl.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Cook fish for 3-4 minutes per side.
- Pour the sauce over the fish and simmer for 2 minutes.
- Garnish with green onion before serving.

- Adjust sugar to taste.
- Serve with steamed rice.
