Ingredients

  • 500g flour
  • 200g sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 100g butter
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp cloves
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp ginger

Instructions

  1. Heat honey and butter in a pot until melted.
  2. Mix flour, sugar, baking soda, and spices in a bowl.
  3. Add honey mixture to dry ingredients and stir well.
  4. Beat eggs and fold into the batter.
  5. Pour batter into a greased baking pan.
  6. Bake at 180°C for 45-50 minutes.
  7. Let cool before serving.
