Description
Pierniczki wielkanocne are traditional Polish Easter gingerbread cookies. These spiced treats are soft, fragrant, and often decorated with icing.
Ingredients

- 500g all-purpose flour
- 200g honey
- 100g sugar
- 1 egg
- 100g butter
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 2 tbsp gingerbread spice mix
Instructions
- Mix honey, sugar, and melted butter in a bowl.
- Add the egg and stir well.
- Sift flour, baking soda, and spices into the mixture.
- Knead the dough until smooth.
- Roll out the dough and cut into shapes.
- Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 10-12 minutes.
Notes
- Let the dough rest for better flavor.
- Store in an airtight container to keep them soft.
- Decorate with icing when cooled.
