A simple recipe for making delicious pizza at home.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 3/4 cup warm water
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- Toppings of your choice (pepperoni, mushrooms, bell peppers, etc.)
Instructions
- Dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water. Let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
- Mix flour and salt in a bowl. Add olive oil and yeast mixture. Knead into a dough.
- Cover and let the dough rise for 1 hour in a warm place.
- Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C). Roll out the dough on a floured surface.
- Spread tomato sauce over the dough, then add cheese and toppings.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
Notes
- Let the dough rest for best results.
- Adjust toppings based on preference.
- Use a pizza stone for a crispier crust.
