Description

Łazanki z Kapustą is a traditional Polish dish combining pasta with sautéed cabbage and onions for a simple, hearty meal.


Ingredients

  • 300g łazanki (or any small pasta)
  • 500g white cabbage, shredded
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 tbsp butter or oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat butter or oil in a large pan. Add chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
  3. Add shredded cabbage to the pan. Cook until softened, about 10 minutes.
  4. Mix cooked pasta with the cabbage and onion. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Serve warm.

  • You can add smoked bacon or sausage for extra flavor.
  • Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days.
