Krokiety z Kapustą i Grzybami are crispy Polish croquettes filled with savory cabbage and mushrooms.
Ingredients

- 2 cups shredded cabbage
- 1 cup chopped mushrooms
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Heat butter in a pan and sauté onion until translucent.
- Add garlic, cabbage, and mushrooms. Cook until soft.
- Season with salt and pepper. Let the filling cool.
- Shape the filling into small cylinders.
- Dip each cylinder in flour, then beaten eggs, then breadcrumbs.
- Fry in hot oil until golden brown on all sides.
- Drain on paper towels before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh cabbage for best texture.
- Serve with sour cream or mushroom sauce.
- Can be made ahead and reheated in the oven.
