- 200g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 200g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 100g chopped cherries
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then add the vanilla.
- Fold in the flour and baking powder.
- Gently stir in the chopped cherries.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden.
- Let it cool, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
- You can replace cherries with other fruits if preferred.
