Ingredients

- 1 medium cabbage, shredded
- 200g mushrooms, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp caraway seeds
- 1 bay leaf
Instructions
- Heat butter in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add chopped onion and sauté until golden.
- Add sliced mushrooms and cook until softened.
- Stir in shredded cabbage, salt, pepper, caraway seeds, and bay leaf.
- Cover and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove bay leaf before serving.

- Use fresh cabbage for the best texture.
- You can add smoked sausage for extra flavor.
