Ingredients

- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm water
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 cup fresh basil, chopped
Instructions
- Mix flour, sugar, salt, and yeast in a bowl.
- Add warm water and olive oil, then knead into a dough.
- Fold in chopped basil and knead until smooth.
- Let the dough rise for 1 hour.
- Shape into a loaf and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25 minutes.
- Cool before slicing.
