Túrós fánk is a traditional Hungarian dessert, a type of cheese-filled doughnut. It’s soft, fluffy, and filled with sweet cottage cheese.

- 250g cottage cheese
- 250g flour
- 2 eggs
- 50g sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
- Oil for frying
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Mix cottage cheese, eggs, sugar, and salt in a bowl.
- Add flour and baking powder, then knead into a soft dough.
- Roll the dough to 1cm thickness and cut into rounds.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the doughnuts until golden brown.
- Drain on paper towels and dust with powdered sugar.
Notes
- Use fresh cottage cheese for best texture.
- Don’t overmix the dough to keep it light.
- Fry at medium heat to avoid burning.
