Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a cake pan.
- Mix flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Alternate adding flour mixture and milk to the butter mixture.
- Stir in vanilla extract.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes.
- Let cake cool completely before decorating with edible flowers.

- Add flowers just before serving for freshness.
- Store cake in refrigerator if using perishable flowers.
