Description

A simple and delicious dessert made with layers of sponge cake and creamy quark filling.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 200g flour
  • 150g sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 250g quark (tvaroh)
  • 100g butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 100ml milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.
  2. Mix flour, sugar, eggs, and baking powder to make the sponge batter.
  3. Pour batter into a greased baking pan and bake for 20 minutes.
  4. Let the sponge cool, then slice into rectangles.
  5. Beat quark, butter, vanilla, and milk until smooth for the filling.
  6. Spread filling between sponge layers.
  7. Chill before serving.
