Ingredients

- 200g poppy seeds
- 100g sugar
- 50g honey
- 2 eggs
- 100g butter, melted
- 250g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 100ml milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Grind poppy seeds finely in a blender.
- Mix poppy seeds, sugar, honey, eggs, and melted butter in a bowl.
- Sift flour, baking powder, and salt into the mixture.
- Gradually add milk while stirring to form a smooth dough.
- Roll the dough into a log shape on a floured surface.
- Place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool before slicing.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- For extra flavor, add lemon zest or vanilla extract.
- Serve with tea or coffee.
