Ingredients

  • 100g sugar
  • 50g honey
  • 2 eggs
  • 100g butter, melted
  • 250g all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 100ml milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Grind poppy seeds finely in a blender.
  3. Mix poppy seeds, sugar, honey, eggs, and melted butter in a bowl.
  4. Sift flour, baking powder, and salt into the mixture.
  5. Gradually add milk while stirring to form a smooth dough.
  6. Roll the dough into a log shape on a floured surface.
  7. Place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Let cool before slicing.
