Description

Lángos is a traditional Hungarian deep-fried flatbread, crispy on the outside and soft inside. It’s often topped with garlic, sour cream, and cheese.


Ingredients

  • 500g all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 7g instant yeast
  • 300ml lukewarm water
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 200ml sour cream
  • 100g grated cheese
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, salt, sugar, and yeast in a bowl.
  2. Add lukewarm water and knead into a smooth dough.
  3. Cover and let rise for 1 hour.
  4. Divide dough into small portions and shape into flat rounds.
  5. Heat oil in a pan and fry each piece until golden brown.
  6. Drain on paper towels.
  7. Rub with minced garlic, top with sour cream and cheese.
