Ingredients

- 3 ripe avocados
- 1 lime (juiced)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 small onion (finely diced)
- 1 small tomato (diced)
- 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro (chopped)
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
- 1/2 jalapeño pepper (seeded and minced)
Instructions
- Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a bowl.
- Mash the avocado with a fork until smooth or slightly chunky.
- Add lime juice, salt, and cumin, then mix well.
- Stir in the onion, tomato, cilantro, garlic, and jalapeño.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
- Serve immediately with tortilla chips or as a topping.
Notes
- Use ripe avocados for the best texture.
- For extra spice, leave the jalapeño seeds in.
- Store with plastic wrap pressed directly on the surface to prevent browning.
