Description

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp almond extract
  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the vanilla and almond extracts.
  5. Fold in the almond flour, all-purpose flour, and salt until smooth.
  6. Spread the frangipane evenly into your tart shell or pastry.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden and set.
  8. Let cool before serving.
