- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp almond extract
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla and almond extracts.
- Fold in the almond flour, all-purpose flour, and salt until smooth.
- Spread the frangipane evenly into your tart shell or pastry.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden and set.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- You can add sliced almonds on top for extra crunch.
