- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup fresh basil leaves
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Place chicken breasts in the pan and cook for 5-6 minutes per side.
- Add salt, pepper, and chicken broth. Cover and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Stir in fresh basil leaves and lemon juice. Cook for 1 more minute.
- Serve hot.
