Description

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, and salt.
  3. Cut in the chilled butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in vanilla extract, egg yolk, and milk until the dough comes together.
  5. Roll the dough into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.
  6. Flatten each ball slightly with a fork or your fingers.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  8. Let cool before decorating with sprinkles or powdered sugar.
