Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/4 cup pine nuts
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the basil leaves.
  2. Peel and chop the garlic cloves.
  3. Toast the pine nuts lightly in a pan.
  4. Combine basil, garlic, pine nuts, and Parmesan in a food processor.
  5. Slowly add olive oil while blending.
  6. Season with salt to taste.
  7. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container.
