Description

A traditional Polish herring salad, perfect for gatherings and holidays.


Ingredients

  • 200g pickled herring fillets, diced
  • 1 medium apple, peeled and diced
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 boiled eggs, diced
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Dice the herring fillets, apple, and boiled eggs.
  2. Finely chop the onion.
  3. In a bowl, mix sour cream, mayonnaise, and mustard.
  4. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
