- 250g all-purpose flour
- 150g unsalted butter, chilled
- 80g powdered sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a bowl, mix flour and powdered sugar.
- Add chilled butter and rub it into the flour mixture until crumbly.
- Add egg yolk and a pinch of salt, then knead into a smooth dough.
- Roll out the dough to 5mm thickness and cut into desired shapes.
- Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until lightly golden.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Chill the dough for 30 minutes before rolling for easier handling.
- Store in an airtight container to maintain crispiness.
- Dust with powdered sugar for extra sweetness.
