A simple and delicious Chinese tofu recipe that you can make at home. This dish is packed with flavor and perfect for a quick meal.
Ingredients

- 1 block (14 oz) firm tofu, drained and cubed
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add garlic and ginger, sauté for 30 seconds.
- Add tofu cubes and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Pour in soy sauce and sesame oil, mix well.
- Add cornstarch mixture and stir until sauce thickens.
- Sprinkle with green onions and red pepper flakes.
- Serve hot with rice or noodles.
Notes
- Press tofu for 15 minutes before cooking to remove excess water.
- Adjust spice level by adding more or less red pepper flakes.
- Use low-sodium soy sauce if preferred.
