A festive stuffed quail dish perfect for Christmas celebrations.
Ingredients

- 4 quails
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup chopped chestnuts
- 1/4 cup diced apples
- 1/4 cup diced onions
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1 tsp rosemary
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Melt butter in a pan and sauté onions until translucent.
- Add apples, chestnuts, breadcrumbs, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Stuff each quail with the mixture and tie legs with kitchen twine.
- Place quails in a roasting pan and cook for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- You can substitute chestnuts with walnuts if preferred.
- Serve with roasted vegetables or mashed potatoes.
