- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Chocolate ganache for decoration
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a jelly roll pan with parchment paper.
- Beat eggs and sugar until fluffy. Sift flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt. Fold into egg mixture.
- Spread batter evenly in pan. Bake for 12-15 minutes.
- Roll cake in a clean towel while warm. Cool completely.
- Whip cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
- Unroll cake, spread cream filling, then roll again.
- Cover with ganache. Use a fork to create bark texture.
- Chill before serving.
Notes
- Dust with powdered sugar for a snowy effect.
- Add edible holly leaves for decoration.
- Store refrigerated for up to 3 days.
