Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Chocolate ganache for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a jelly roll pan with parchment paper.
  2. Beat eggs and sugar until fluffy. Sift flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt. Fold into egg mixture.
  3. Spread batter evenly in pan. Bake for 12-15 minutes.
  4. Roll cake in a clean towel while warm. Cool completely.
  5. Whip cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
  6. Unroll cake, spread cream filling, then roll again.
  7. Cover with ganache. Use a fork to create bark texture.
  8. Chill before serving.

Notes

  • Dust with powdered sugar for a snowy effect.
  • Add edible holly leaves for decoration.
  • Store refrigerated for up to 3 days.
