Description
Bulete de cascaval is a traditional Romanian cheese ball dish, often served as an appetizer or snack.
Ingredients

- 200g cascaval cheese (or any semi-hard yellow cheese)
- 1 egg
- 50g breadcrumbs
- 50g flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Grate the cheese into a bowl
- Add egg, breadcrumbs, flour, salt and pepper
- Mix well until you get a dough-like consistency
- Form small balls with your hands
- Heat oil in a pan
- Fry the cheese balls until golden brown
- Drain on paper towels
- Serve warm

- Adjust breadcrumbs if mixture is too sticky
