Description

A delicious French dessert combining the classic buche de noel with caramelized apples for a festive treat.


Ingredients

  • 150g sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 100g butter
  • 3 apples
  • 100g caramel sauce
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.
  2. Peel and slice apples, then caramelize them with sugar.
  3. Mix flour, eggs, sugar, vanilla, and salt to make the sponge.
  4. Bake for 20 minutes until golden.
  5. Spread caramel sauce over the cooled sponge.
  6. Add caramelized apples and roll into a log shape.
  7. Chill for 2 hours before serving.

  • Let the sponge cool before rolling to prevent cracking.
