- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup whipped cream
- 2 tbsp strawberry jam
- Heart-shaped sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
- Add milk, oil, egg, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth.
- Pour batter into a small greased baking pan.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool completely.
- Slice the cake horizontally into two layers.
- Spread strawberry jam on the bottom layer.
- Top with whipped cream and place the second layer.
- Decorate with whipped cream and heart-shaped sprinkles.
Notes
- Use a small baking pan for a bento-sized cake.
- Adjust sweetness by reducing sugar if needed.
