- 1 block (14 oz) firm tofu, pressed and cut into slices
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your grill or oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix the BBQ sauce, olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Coat the tofu slices evenly with the BBQ mixture.
- Grill or bake the tofu for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until caramelized.
- Serve hot with extra BBQ sauce if desired.
Notes
- Press the tofu for at least 30 minutes to remove excess water.
- For extra crispiness, bake the tofu at 400°F (200°C) for 25 minutes.
- Adjust the BBQ sauce quantity to your taste.
