Description

A simple and flavorful BBQ tofu recipe that’s perfect for grilling or baking. This dish is packed with smoky, sweet, and tangy flavors.


Ingredients

  • 1 block (14 oz) firm tofu, pressed and cut into slices
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the BBQ sauce, olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Coat the tofu slices evenly with the BBQ mixture.
  4. Grill or bake the tofu for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until caramelized.
  5. Serve hot with extra BBQ sauce if desired.

Notes

  • Press the tofu for at least 30 minutes to remove excess water.
  • For extra crispiness, bake the tofu at 400°F (200°C) for 25 minutes.
