A refreshing basil smash cocktail with a citrus twist.


Ingredients

  • 50 ml gin
  • 20 ml fresh lemon juice
  • 10 ml simple syrup
  • 810 fresh basil leaves
  • Ice cubes
  • Soda water (optional)

Instructions

  1. Muddle basil leaves with lemon juice and simple syrup in a shaker.
  2. Add gin and ice, then shake well for 15 seconds.
  3. Strain into a glass filled with fresh ice.
  4. Top with soda water if desired.
  5. Garnish with a basil leaf.
