- 2 slices of bread
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
- 2 slices of mozzarella cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Wash and dry the basil leaves.
- Place the mozzarella slices on one slice of bread.
- Add the basil leaves on top of the cheese.
- Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Cover with the second slice of bread.
- Grill or toast the sandwich until the cheese melts.
- Serve warm.
