Description

A delicious and easy-to-make basil sandwich with fresh ingredients.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 2 slices of mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the basil leaves.
  2. Place the mozzarella slices on one slice of bread.
  3. Add the basil leaves on top of the cheese.
  4. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  5. Cover with the second slice of bread.
  6. Grill or toast the sandwich until the cheese melts.
  7. Serve warm.
