Ingredients

- 8 oz pasta (penne or fusilli)
- 1 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
- 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and let cool.
- In a large bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, and lemon juice.
- Add cooked pasta, chopped basil, and cherry tomatoes to the bowl.
- Toss gently to combine.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper.
- Serve chilled or at room temperature.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add toasted pine nuts.
- Best served fresh but can be refrigerated for up to 2 days.
