Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked rice (preferably chilled)
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 egg (optional)
  • 1/2 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, bell peppers)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add garlic and onion. Sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add mixed vegetables and cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Push vegetables to one side, crack the egg, and scramble it.
  5. Add rice and soy sauce. Stir well to combine.
  6. Toss in basil leaves and cook for another minute.
  7. Season with salt and pepper. Serve hot.
