Ingredients

- 2 cups cooked rice (preferably chilled)
- 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 egg (optional)
- 1/2 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, bell peppers)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add garlic and onion. Sauté until fragrant.
- Add mixed vegetables and cook for 2 minutes.
- Push vegetables to one side, crack the egg, and scramble it.
- Add rice and soy sauce. Stir well to combine.
- Toss in basil leaves and cook for another minute.
- Season with salt and pepper. Serve hot.
