Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Red and green food coloring (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Add butter, eggs, vanilla, and milk. Mix well.
  4. Divide batter into two parts. Add red food coloring to one and green to the other.
  5. Pour into a greased baking pan.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let cool before serving.
