Ingredients

- 200g walnuts, finely ground
- 150g sugar
- 6 eggs, separated
- 100g flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 250ml milk
- 250g butter, softened
- 200g powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Beat egg yolks with sugar until pale and fluffy.
- Add ground walnuts, flour, baking powder, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
- In a separate bowl, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Fold into the batter gently.
- Pour batter into a greased cake pan and bake for 30-35 minutes. Let cool.
- For the cream, whip butter and powdered sugar until light. Add cocoa and milk gradually.
- Slice the cake horizontally into two layers. Spread cream on one layer and stack the other on top.
- Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
