Description

Crispy tofu made in an air fryer is a quick and healthy alternative to frying. It’s perfect for salads, bowls, or as a snack.


Ingredients

  • 1 block (14 oz) firm tofu, pressed and cubed
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Press tofu for 15 minutes to remove excess water, then cut into cubes.
  2. In a bowl, mix tofu with soy sauce, cornstarch, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Toss tofu with olive oil.
  4. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  5. Arrange tofu in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  6. Cook for 12-15 minutes, shaking halfway, until crispy and golden.
  7. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use extra-firm tofu for best texture.
  • Adjust seasoning to taste.
  • For extra crispiness, cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
